About us:
Blu-Print Service was founded in 1979 by Robert Costigan Sr.. When Bob began working for the Charles Bruning Co. in 1962, he was one of three technicians trained in servicing Blueprint machines in the state of Connecticut. In the mid 1960’s, Bruning introduced plain paper copiers, followed by the advent of microfilm and microfiche. Bruning began to diversify its product line to include machines capable of reading and printing this type of media, which he was also trained to service. We continued with this product line and became aquainted with large document engineering copiers, which we have sold and serviced since their introduction. Robert Sr. retired in January 2001 and turned the business over to Robert Jr. and continues to maintain a presence in this industry.
Today, Blu-Print Service continues to provide the highest level of quality sales and service in the industry. We continue to grow by providing full sales and service of Kip America wide format digital and analog engineering equipment, Xerox digital and analog engineering equipment, and Hewlett-Packard plotters and printers. We continue to service our customers who chose to operate their businesses with ammonia based blueprint equipment by providing sales and service on Diazit, Blu-Ray, as well as all other ammonia and activator fluid based equipment.
We at Blu-Print Service believe the people who sell you your equipment should also be the same people who you see servicing your equipment. Please consider this factor when the sale is over and the equipment needs servicing.
If you are currently a customer of ours, or a prospective customer, we hope this web site provides additional information for all your sales and service needs.
